second cake. VIDEO/ACTION for viridian city.
[ Honey's sitting in front of a pretty large looking cake at a cafe in Viridian. This thing probably cost him an entire paycheck, if not two. Kan-chan the Kangaskhan is looking on with what can only be described as slight motherly disapproval, although this is pretty par for the course for Honey. ]

The Kangaskhan seems pacified by this instruction, and will shuffle forward to lift something out of her front pouch - a tiny, annoyed piplup. He doesn't seem to appreciate the mothering, but both Honey and Kan-chan ignore that. ] Say hello, Jin-chan! [ NO. Something else seems to be speeding around in the background... ] And that's Nina-chan, although she doesn't like to sit still!
[ But anyway back to the matter at hand... ] We're having a birthday party~! Today is the 28th, so I'm nineteen! Ah, although I was born on the 29th, this year isn't a leap year in this place...so, this is a one-cake birthday. Although it's not as big as the kind I normally get at home, I think this one looks good, too, don't you~?

He does look up when his name is called, though, and after a second there's a huge grin for Mami - he recognizes her from before. ]

[ Kan-chan is certainly interested - so is Honey, for that matter. He's peering at them curiously - luckily for everyone he ate a lot of cake already today, so he's not too likely to try one despite warnings... ]

I didn't know what you and your team would like, but I went ahead and brought some sweet and sour kinds.

But so far she's seen no pattern to Pokemon tastes, via her own team and her job. Some love sweets, some hate them, but most could take it or leave it - Just like all the other flavors.
