[ Honey's sitting in front of a pretty large looking cake at a cafe in Viridian. This thing probably cost him an entire paycheck, if not two. Kan-chan the Kangaskhan is looking on with what can only be described as slight motherly disapproval, although this is pretty par for the course for Honey. ]
Hiiiiii everyone! I reached Viridian City, ne. And made some new friends along the way - Kan-chan, introduce Jin-chan! [ Well, okay. The Kangaskhan seems pacified by this instruction, and will shuffle forward to lift something out of her front pouch - a tiny, annoyed piplup. He doesn't seem to appreciate the mothering, but both Honey and Kan-chan ignore that. ] Say hello, Jin-chan! [ NO. Something else seems to be speeding around in the background... ] And that's Nina-chan, although she doesn't like to sit still!
[ But anyway back to the matter at hand... ] We're having a birthday party~! Today is the 28th, so I'm nineteen! Ah, although I was born on the 29th, this year isn't a leap year in this place...so, this is a one-cake birthday. Although it's not as big as the kind I normally get at home, I think this one looks good, too, don't you~?
