Heyyyyyy! [ Well that sure is Honey. And this time, he has company! ...No, it's not a new pokemon, if he did a post for every new pokemon he'd end up posting nearly every week. :T It is, instead, the company of the BEST THING EVER, otherwise known as Bun-Bun the pink stuffed rabbit. He's had his bff ever since the glitch thing, but ~~the fourth wall post was too close to that~~ hadn't gotten around to posting about this until now. ]

Guess what, guess what?! I found Bun-Bun!!! Aaaaah, this is the greatest! It was a while ago, but things have been a bit busy, ne? [ what with Hikaru leaving and Kaoru's birthday and going to Violet with Lilo and the fourth wall and the glitch thing and... ] But this is definitely cause for celebration!

So, anyone in Violet is invited to have cake~! On me! I just got paid today anyway~!

[ ...Let's ignore the part where he would probably treat people to cake on any day as it was... ]

[ WELL THAT SURE IS HIS NAME. With a "-Senpai", too, even. Honey's briefly startled, since that normally signals someone from home - but no, he remembers her voice, and his confusion immediately changes to a bright grin when he notices her.

...Is that Vulpix wearing a diamond necklace? ]

Alice-chan! You're in Violet? I hadn't realized, or I would have called you...!

[He can blame Hikaru and Hikaru's brother for that one; she picked it up from them, and all things considered it's probably better than "Honey Bazooka" anyway.]

I just got here a couple days ago! We came down to go beat the gym. That's why you're here too, right?

It is! Lilo-chan and I got here a little while ago - ah, a few days after all the, you know, weird stuff.

[ whatever the heck that was. He's not questioning it. ]

I haven't done my challenge yet, but I was going to do so tomorrow or so, and then we were maybe going to move on, unless Lilo-chan wanted to take it on.

[ ...yeah he acquired a small child since she last saw him. ]

Can I come watch when you go? Who's Lilo-chan?

Of course you can! If you want to, that's fine with me. And Lilo-chan is the little girl I'm travelling with - she's about so high [ HAND GESTURES. He is taller than someone! ] and from Hawaii. About eight, I think? Likes Elvis.

[ OH, TIME TO SHOW OFF BUN-BUN, ALWAYS THE BEST TIME. ]

It is~~! This is Bun-Bun! Bun-Bun, this is Alice-chan~! I found him after the weird week, ne?

[Wow, someone shorter than Honey-senpai, now ain't that a trip.

She'll reflect on that later, though, because for the moment she's just kind of unconsciously reaching for the bunny, like she almost wants to grab it and give it a hug herself.]

[They are BUNNY TWINS.]

I found my bunny after...yeah. Me too.

[ Honey is fairly protective of his stuffed rabbit - but he's also pretty willing to share the love, and he trusts Parker, apparently. When she reaches out he holds Bun-Bun out further, clearly willing to let her at least hold him. ]

Yep! It was the best day since I got here. What's yours named?

[ He peers around but she doesn't seem to be carrying it... ]

[With all the reverence of someone who clearly understands the importance of stuffed rabbits, she gingerly takes Bun-Bun and gives him a little hug. He doesn't hug like her own rabbit does, naturally, but that's understandable. And he's still pretty great anyway.]

Just "Bunny". I was...really little when I got him.

[She hands back Bun-Bun a moment later.]

[ And in that moment Parker-Alice wins millions of points that can never be lost. In Honey's world, anyone who treats Bun-Bun with that sort of reverence is completely okay and trustworthy. ]

When I was younger, too. I've had him for as long as I can remember, actually. For a while...in high school, the first year, I put him away for a little while.

[ Those were Dark Days. When he was, you know, trying to be Manly, because family. ]

...But I don't do that any longer, ne? It's best to like what you like.

[She'd show him her own bunny, but he's currently safely secured in her backpack, which in turn is being guarded by her Aerodactyl. Because Parker does not screw around when it comes to her money, her assorted material possessions, or her bunny.]

Why did you put him away? Did people make fun of you or something?

[She knows the feeling, sort of. At least of people calling her crazy for the stuff she does.]

[ Honey never lets Bun-Bun leave his arms unless there's a reason - even during battles, he'll hold the thing. ...And anyone who tries to take the rabbit without permission will shortly find themselves in a lot of trouble. ]

No. I'm sure some people probably did, but the reason I put Bun-Bun away was that Father told me I had to become a serious man, as the heir of the family. So I put away all my cute things and stopped eating sweets and did my best.

[ He was pretty horrible at it... ]

...Then a kouhai told me it was okay to like what I liked, and that doing so took a lot more courage than pretending I didn't like something. I think he was right about that.

[ And he'd follow that kouhai anywhere. ]

[She's kind of quiet a minute, contemplating this story.]

My foster dad took my bunny away. Your dad sounds like a jerk, but at least he wasn't a jerk like mine was a jerk.

[Also because it saves her the trouble of asking if Honey-senpai blew his dad up for the transgression.]

What's a kouhai? Is that like a teammate?

That's terrible, Alice-chan. [ He really means that, too. :T ] I think he meant to do what was best for the family. And when I told him I was going to just be myself...he didn't argue. So I think we were and are just very different people, him and I.

[ He'd asked Honey to stop using the bunny, rather than having just taken it away. ]

...Your dad sounds like a jerk, too.

And a kouhai is the opposite of a senpai. Like you called me? Kao-chan is my kouhai, while I'm his senpai.

I think...maybe sometimes it's good to do what's good for your family. I mean, that's what you should do. 'Cause...that's why they're your family.

[Like Archie. Archie was a better dad than any of the foster homes she'd ended up in, but even Archie...even he thought the team she has now were a good family for her. Maybe better than he'd been.]

But you have to do what you do, too. For yourself. So I think you're right, and your kouhai guy is too.

I agree. And I'll be the best heir my family could ever ask for! ...Just, in my own way.

[ He grins a little, losing the serious expression that just isn't native to his face. ]

Which I think will make me a better heir, anyway. I've never wanted to go against my family; they're important to me. That's why I did try to do what he asked. It just...wasn't working!

[And this is why she likes Honey so much. He just makes so much sense.

Also he likes stuffed rabbits.]

I'm really glad your dad thought it was okay. It's the worst, having to argue with someone like that. Even if it means you're doing what you think is right in the end.

It is! I really dislike arguing with people. But I also don't like it when people don't just say what they want to me, ne?

[ Like TAKASHI...although that was partly because he knew what Takashi wasn't saying. ]

Ah, we're saying such serious things! We should be celebrating our rabbits and meeting in person, right? I'll treat you to cake! And you should tell me all about what you're up to! Have you got a travelling party?

You know what they have at one of the cafes? Doughnut cake. Have you ever had double chocolate doughnut cake? Oh, man, it's so good.

[Also, she's been basically living on it since they hit Violet. Go figure.]

Oh, wait, hang on, you didn't meet Nate and Sophie yet either! This is Nate and this is Sophie.

[She says, suddenly recalling that oh yes, she brought a Poochyena and a Vulpix with her.]

I've never had doughnut cake...!

[ BUT GUESS WHAT HE WANTS TO LIVE OFF OF. ]

Oh! Hello, Nate-chan, Sophie-chan! I'm Honey. It's nice to meet you!

[ He's always polite to pokemon.

...Speaking of. He waves at something a little ways away, and Kan-chan the Kangaskhan will trot on back. She eyes the newcomers a bit warily. She, like the others, is sporting an accessory: a fetching pink scarf. ]

This is Kan-chan! Kan-chan, this is Alice-chan, Nate-chan, and Sophie-chan. Say hi!

Whoa.

[That's a big kangaroo, man.

However, Nate and Sophie are equally well-behaved, and almost uncannily human in some of their behaviors; at the greeting, Nate dips his head a little in an almost-nod, and Sophie tosses her head in a charming welcome.]

Hi, Kan-chan.

She's a Kangaskhan!

[ And thinks Honey is her baby because she doesn't have one. So there's that. She seems mollified by the manners of the other Pokemon and Parker, and inclines her head a little back at them, before surreptitiously checking Honey over.

No injuries or anything. She is an awesome mom. ]

We've been together since I got here!

[Well, that gets her a wary look out of Parker.]

She doesn't look evil. You must've gotten lucky.

[ ...wait what. ]

[ He's...flummoxed, really. ]

My starter is evil. Some people's are, so it's really lucky that yours isn't.
