private conversation, day eight: oz
[ Belgium sure did just die gruesomely. While this happens a little after the burial - and therefore probably after Missile explodes GOD - Honey's main concern after seeing the murder victim that morning is to go and find Oz and flag him down to speak quietly.
He's known since very early on that Oz and Belgium are partnered. He hadn't known they were the cops, but...that's not really the relevant thing to talk about right now in his opinion. A partner dying means the other partner dies, too...even if there's a time delay. ]
Oz-chan? [ Usually, they have no idea when any of them will die. This is different, and quite frankly Honey isn't sure he likes it. ]

His conversational skills leave much to be desired for today, sadly.]
Honey... Hi.
[He seems a little more filled with frenetic energy than usual, but outside of that, not too bad. Honey will also note that his bracelet is not beeping.]

[ But all the same... ]

I think that I might be fine! I got... really lucky last night and came into contact with the medic team right before we all made our choices. But I have a lot of work to do today just in case...
[He's already writing his letters out. ONE FOR CLASH TOO EVEN THOUGH SHE'S A MANIAC]
no subject
[ THAT'S. A HUGE RELIEF, TO BE HONEST... ]

[As soon as the medic team is taken out, then, he knows he'll be next - if he even survives that long.]

...It's...possible the game could end before they locate you.

[HE WILL NOT GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP. THE SHIP OF SAD IMPENDING DEATH... He will ride it out to sea proudly okay.]
I couldn't really do a whole lot for anyone in the end. Trying to figure out what's going on here... It's hard to balance that with trying to keep people alive. So if I can do just a little more, I'll be glad!

[ Before everyone else had already died. Kyouya, Kaoru, Tamaki. It didn't really matter what roles they had or hadn't held: they were his friends, and he'd voted one of them to death and failed to do anything to save the other two.
...Really, at this rate, Honey's not sure he even wants to get through the game. It's only the fact there are still people alive he cares about that keeps him focused away from that thought. ]
Even though everyone wants to kill the VIPs and hates them, I...can't hate Tama-chan or believe he would ever want to do this sort of thing. Something isn't right.

[He leans a little to the left where he sits, gaze rising briefly to the sky.]
"The VIPs aren't our enemies"... Someone that I trust said that to me here. And I don't think they are! But I think that from the very start, we should have all been focusing on why any of us believe what we've been told by the people who brought us here. You win if this happens, you lose if this happens... I don't think any of us were meant to leave this park alive from the start.
[And now, he worries that it might be too late to do anything about that.]
I think that I know who the last few VIPs may be, but that's still three more days. We don't have that kind of time.

[ Since someone legitimately locked them up and people seem to have had brain surgery and just...
All around this kind of sucks and it worries him when people get really bloodthirsty and vicious and don't acknowledge the fact that there may be outside influences at work - though admittedly that's in the heat of the moment. ]
...And at this point, there isn't any real way to get others to consider alternate routes, if we had any to suggest.
no subject
It's... a bad situation. I don't know what to do for it... The only thing that I'm supposed to do is find the VIPs, but every life that's saved here comes at the cost of another. [He twists his hands in his lap, looking down. Even Belgium he had been unable to help, after doing nothing but cause her trouble for the entire game. Always so much less cautious, the person that she had to keep watch after and scold...
He wonders why luck allowed him to be the one to survive that horrific death that she had to experience.]
...I don't know what else to do.
no subject
[ It had been the last thing in the world he'd ever wanted to have to do. Have any hand in the death of any of his friends. Honey had never wanted to face that, had never imagined he would face that until they had woken up in this place.
Peko wants every last VIP dead, but Honey would really just like people to stop dying. ]
...I can't celebrate when they die, like some of the others do. I don't...think winning is a good thing for any side in this.

I think that you're right. But at this point, I don't think that anyone would listen, either. Not those who vote during the day and not those who kill at night.
