[ The BEST thing about this weekend (although Honey's not 100% what is happening here) is that he's back to 100% strength. Being half-down was always awkward in a way; like reaching for something that was always right beside you only to find someone had moved it across the continent for unknown reasons.

He can be found wherever he is - travel is relative, but they were near to Violet - having a match with his Mienfoo. Training his pokemon by actually fighting with them is something Honey does anyway (teaching them that is easier for him than it isn't) but this time he's actually holding his own with weird strength.

Later, he'll turn on the video happily. ]

Ne, this is a little weird even for Johto, isn't it~? I bet this isn't something I get to keep forever, being back to normal.

Tama-chan would come once we were all here, I think! Where we are, he can't be that far behind, can he?

[ At least, not in Honey's mind... ]

[ Honey finishes off a kick combo before landing on his feet and turning to Ilya, absently deflecting one last attack from the young pokemon - who sighs with slight exasperation, but settles down to go try his luck against Kan-chan, for the moment. ]

Ah, Ilya-chan! You're here, too? Is it because of whatever's happening, or - ?

[ There's a brief, sheepish grin. ] Maaa, I get told that pretty often. But it's how the Haninozuka heir ought to be.

Aa. [Mitsukuni's logic might not make sense if it were applied to anyone else, but Tamaki was a different story. Their fearless leader had a habit of being where most of the Host Club was gathered. Even as silly as the blond tended to be, he took his responsibility as the president of the club seriously, and watched out for the other members as much as possible.

Since Tamaki was not there, however, talking about him would only make them both sad, so Takashi decided to change the subject.]

Where were you headed?

Ah, Violet! We're pretty much outside of it. Lilo-chan and I haven't taken the gym challenge there yet, so we figured we'd hang around for a bit and then do it, you know?

Faulkner-chan's a flying-type specialist apparently...so it may be a hard battle.

So, you are using this time to train?

Yes! As long as I'm at full strength - and I don't know how long it'll last - I may as well get in some intensive training for them, ne? I want them to have all the help they can.

[He nodded at his cousin. It was a logical thing to do; probably something that Takashi himself would put into play if the truth be told. However, the only Pokemon he saw with Mitsukuni was the Mienfoo that he'd been sparring with.]

Yes~! Kan-chan's over there. [ He gestures into...the woods? If Takashi listens, though, he might hear the sounds of more clashes. He's got six out, and just happened to get separated from the others...

But he trusts them all implicitly, so it hadn't worried him overmuch. ]

Chakra...Ah, I'm not sure if I have that, so I don't know if this is something I can learn, then.

[ Although he can copy back the hand seals at Obito, if asked. ]

[Takashi looks to where his cousin indicates and he can indeed hear the sounds of more fighting going on. Mitsukuni's relaxed attitude is something that he's used to though so he just nods briefly.]

You can learn. [No hesitation in his voice there.]

You just have to get in touch with the chakra inside you before you can do anything with it is all.

[Then he started to go slowly through the signs, denoting the elements as he went.]

Well, of course there are! This is a big world with many regions! Everyone has Pokémon. Species change, and sometimes even their colorng, but gyms and Leagues and all is everywhere!

[She offers Honey a smile.] Maybe after you get some more badges you can fly or surf outside Kanto and visit us, he~

It must be, because I was still in the Breeding Center until recently. I guess I'll probably be sent somewhere else sooner or later too.

[She's quite blase about that.]

Mmmm, I see. My family is kind of like that too, but in a completely different way.

Ah, well - it's best to make the best of things? While you're here, I can give you your birthday present! And we can see if you're here long enough to go out to lunch? It's a few days late, but...with everything going on, I actually hadn't thought we'd get a chance to talk until things quieted down. So this is lucky, ne~?

[ He's really Not Sure about the time limits of random teleportation, all things considered. ]

Ah, you remembered! [She clearly doesn't care about the whole late thing, the way her face lights up.] I'm sure we'll have enough time for that, I mean this whole thing started quite some time ago but I only got brought here just recently.

[Her smile turns just a bit wicked at his question. She hops up and walks over to him, one hand outstretched.]

It's something that's easier for me to show you. Give me your hand for a second, okay?

Of course! It was a promise, ne? And that's a good thing indeed! If that's the case, and Ilya-chan doesn't mind, I'll take you out to eat something!

[ The wicked grin gets a raised eyebrow, but not much more - Honey takes her hand without questioning it, apparently ready to trust whatever came next. ]

Ah...so how does one get in touch with the chakra inside?

[ Honey will just follow along, making the hand seals as Obito does, looking focused. ]

So...these seals, do they call forth what's already in you, then?

Then come right this way~!

[ Mitsukuni will start walking now - or skipping, practically. Taka-chan follows easily enough, although he's sort of eyeing you, Takashi... ]

That sounds wonderful! But first things first, let me show you what I can do...

[Curling her fingers around his hand, she closes her eyes.Giving him a couple seconds to do so, she focuses, and grabs hold of his consciousness with her magic.

Honey is about to feel an out-of-body experience as Ilya pulls his mind out past the path down to Goldenrod, giving him an aerial eye view of the city. It doesn't last long, though, before the view descends down to one of the buildings. Dozens of Pokemon surround the building, giving it a very lively atmosphere. They all look well-cared-for and energetic, and a bit of thought might lead one to believe that this is the much talked about Breeding Center.

After holding his mind there for a bit, Ilya lets go mentally, though physically she still holds onto Honey's hand. She waits a couple moments for him to re-orient himself after what she just did, beaming the whole time.]

Did you get a good look? What did you think?

[Takashi doesn't mind following after his happy cousin, but he returns the Meinfoo's stare with a flat look of his own, nonplussed by the Pokemon's attitude.]

Pretty much, though a lot of jutsu need an outside focus, like the ground or water or air to move it through.

And I'll give you your present, then! Ah, right.

[ Honey waits patiently, honestly expecting - well, he's not sure. "Power" equates to physical strength to him, so he half expects to get thrown by the girl, although he doesn't mind the thought of that as such; he can take a fair amount of physical abuse.

he does not expect the out-of-body experience that comes next. His mind pulls free from his body (and how, exactly, does that occur? Honey can't even begin to pretend he understands it at all) and he's soaring away. There's Goldenrod, a city he's never seen, thought he recognizes the radio tower from a guidebook. That's just a flash, though, before they're in the Breeding Centre, the lively atmosphere welcoming and warm.

And then, a short while later, they're back. It does take him a few moments to reorient himself, looking a little shaken - though not upset. Just...floored.

When he finally focuses on Ilya again, it's with measured new respect, though he'd been plenty respectful in a general way beforehand. So this was her power? ]

I...that was amazing, Ilya-chan! I'm not sure what it was, but...astral projection? Is that the term...? I've never...

Nothing like that has ever happened to me before. That was Goldenrod, wasn't it?

Mmm, that's close enough. I really just transferred your vision and your mind, not your soul, so it's not exactly the same thing, but it's close enough!

[She beams proudly, happy both to be able to show off her powers and that Honey understood so well.]

And yes, it was Goldenrod. You can probably guess without me telling you, but it was the Breeding Center, where I live. At least for now. I was able to show it to you because I know it so well. It wouldn't work for someplace I only knew a little bit.

[She giggles.]

Maybe I should try to learn enough of Johto to do it everywhere! What do you think of that?

That's still very impressive...! I can't imagine how you do it, but your world must be a really interesting place.

[ He's pretty certain they're not from the same place, now. ]

Someday I'd like to see that in person...it's only a few cities away! When Lilo-chan and I finally get there, I think I'll drop in on you, if you don't mind.

And I think that would be great! Exploring Johto is pretty fun, isn't it?
