Ne, ne, Kan-chan! Smile for the camera!! Big and wiiiide! [ Kan-chan will flash her teeth to appease her tiny charge as he moves the gear closer to her, why not. He is so enthusiastic. She is the best mother. ] That's it! A first impression is important, right?

[ Honey has yet to drop the light, playful tone of voice, but he'll get to a slightly more serious note now. Kind of. While Honey mopes on her back, the Kangaskhan pats his head gently. After a second of sulking, Honey's back to being cheerful, and finally winds down to what he probably ought to have started with. ] Takashi...! Tama-chaaaan, Kyo-chan, Haru Hika Kao-channnnn, Reikooooo-chan! Can you hear me? Kan-chan and I would like an answer! Ah, I lost Bun-Bun, too...He wasn't here when I got here. Today is an Bun-Bun day, too...

Well, we'll go see if there's a shop with cakes. Kan-chan, you want one, right? We'll savor them properly and wait for everyone else to call us! Onward!! [ ...He's apparently not getting off of her back, he's just going to let her tote him around. And apparently Kan-chan is allowing this, since they start to move as Honey shuts off the gear. ]

I don't know about finding your friends, but as to cake. There's no shops in New Bark Town, or here in Pallet Town, but there's a ferry that goes between the two, and they offer food. They offered a very nice pound cake.
